Heineken
“UNMISSABLE” - TV :30
Role: Art Director and Video Editor. Videography: Publicis Group in-house.
These Heineken ads focus around those split second “Unmissable” reactions when we aren’t paying attention and miss the best moment. Coming in mid-campaign, the ask was to make both the :15 and :30 spots more crisp and effective. In emphasizing those missed moments, pacing while still making it punchy via faster transitions to help sell the final POV shots was the idea. Audio cues and jump shots did a lot of the heavy lifting. Meanwhile, the pacing is set by keeping all the actions shots flowing while the slightly off audio qued the missed moment thoughts. Bonus, did you recognize the famous soccer star in the end?

“WHISKY a GO GO” - OOH
Role: Art Director. Copy provided.
Tasked to put our Heineken ads up in one of the most iconic spots in America, in front of the rock bar ‘Whisky a Go Go’, which is located in the heavy traffic area of Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA. These six huge OOH spots cover a huge visual landscape of those drivers stuck in traffic right after that after dinner rush and probably looking to kick back with a nice drink. We took two different approaches to the OOH ads. The first approach was more focused on making the bottle rock out with the audio waves and a darker appeal as the bar is more known for it’s rock and metal feel. The second approach is a more global big city approach, trying to get you more connected being thirsty to be at the bar inside. Copy is also more set to the local venue.

Pitch slides - Powerpoint
Role: Art Director. Copy provided.
Yes, I’m one of these freaks that actually loves PowerPoint, but I also feel it’s grossly misused, unlike the slides below. Let the viewer relax and sip back on a nice bottle of Heineken is what I hope you might think when flipping through these PowerPoint slides and less thinking about business. Now sit back and enjoy the wonderful world of Photo retouching, big bold font and a bottle that almost looks within reach.
