SUMMARY AND BACKGROUND

Primarily based in consumer and pharma, I’ve worked in most sectors touching most briefs across many platforms as the senior creative. I like to say that a lot of the magic comes from wearing many hats and learning the technical background in production in TV, OOH, print and web, but also as the animator, UX/UI guy, director and video editor. Build it, brand it, pitch it, present it, put it on a banner, then a billboard, slap on some AI, sprinkle in UX-UI, and bedazzle with some social media. I’m the robust one stop creative who manages the client’s expectations, manages the team, delivers on impossible briefs, while still keeping a smile on for those late late nights.

Originally from New Jersey, I started my carrier as an Art Director for on-air and OOH graphic company, de Boer Media Group. After many years with them, I started to branch out to the big ad agencies while adding on more video editing, animation and even some broadway show graphics to all the traditional print and web advertising work. Known for being the creative who wears many hats, I also juggle between being the work horse to get most projects out.

With my techy background, I even got to redesign some casino machines along the way. Another fun endeavor for a couple years was creating a fun innovative white labeled app that was similiar to WhatsApp at the time that eventually even got bought out by us.

Long after that is when I really got to shine as the senior creative as I would really go heavy into branding via several top ad agencies. Although the bulk of the work was still in consumer and pharma. One of the fun highlights was rebranding Oxycontin at Razorfish where I even go to utilize my interactive and TV background while the bulk was still in print and web.

Next up came working as the senior Art Director via Publicis Groupe, where I added the giants Walmart, HPE, Heineken, Merck, and AbbVie. Utilized in many departments, I would be juggling many briefs; TV spots, OOH, boatloads of social media, rebranding websites, and multiple full campaign work.

Despite being part of the downsize right at the start of covid lockdown, I took time off to raise my son during his first year. Easily, the hardest and most rewarding job I’ve had!

Full steam ahead to the current years, where I’ve been helping freelancing to help rebrand Carelon and all of their subsidiaries as the senior creative. Ok, you’re all caught up! Now let’s make some creative work together!

CARELON (Contract)

2022 – Present    Remote

Senior Art Lead to rebrand Carelon, Elevance Health, and partners. Projects include microsites, print, direct mail, POS, OOH, tradeshow graphics, and marketing materials. Most projects included advertising, design, code, and rebranding.

Lussier Creative (Staff & Contract)

This is a merged list of freelance creative work via McCann RCW, Barclays Capital, BD, Toys “R” Us, and several ad agencies. Projects range from pitch work to complete rebranding, storyboarding, 360 campaigns, TV, OOH, web, interactive, print, social media, animations/motion graphics, emailers, full app design/UX/UI, rich media banners, illustrations, trade show graphics, and more.

2017 – 2020    New York, NY
Senior Art Director managing commercial and pharma-based clients. Work includes: pitching new brands, TV spots, storyboarding, digital content creation, social media, website launches, rich media banners, and hands-on directing, editing, and creation of videos and animations. Worked on Walmart, HPE, Heineken,  and global rebrand of HPV (Gardasil 9).

Senior Art Director for the launch, branding and creation of the apps “FuseMe” and other subsidiaries. Also, UI/UX designer for web browser, Android, and iOS formats. Art lead for all advertising and marketing materials including HTML5 mobile friendly websites, Web and Print ads, illustrations, iconography, and original artwork.
