FuseME

APP

Role: Creative Director. Copy provided.

FuseME, created as a unique while labeled version of a what’s app clone back in the day. Creating the brand, meant establishing a young fresh hip energy that also screams modern tech. Hitting the mark via electric clean blue palette and a modern typeface that I also incorporated into the logo design. Some of the main app’s theme was based around the multi functionality of each of its features. Split screen was a big one, but adding feeds and channels along with many bells and whistles helped the product stand out. Meanwhile, the brand’s overall UX/UI I helped focus around making everything being compact and easy to navigate. One of the fun parts of the project was creating the illustrations, iconography, and modifying a full set of emojis. In addition to the many presentation decks created, I also helped with all the graphics that were used on multiple microsites, print graphics and various promotional materials.

FuseMe (Herramientas)

APP

Role: Art Director. Copy provided.

Under the umbrella of FuseMe, I got to be the creative lead and UX/UI designer for Herramientas SMS.  It’s a bilingual app for Spanish and English as Latin America was the main demographic. If you you’ve worked in other languages, you will know you have to overcompensate for the copy to flow much longer, so careful planning was needed when making a compact design. In terms of the app, it needed to be robust as it was a one fits all design for Android, iOS and the browser version. Wowzers! The main functionality of Herramientas is it operates as a companion app to your telemobile companies, where you can easily just switch on or off the features you want: copy messages, blacklist, divert messages, archive, etc.

Upon rebanding the app completely I replaced the dull orange with a more vibrant look, converted the logo from a simple mail icon to an “H” to show mobility, and overall, made the design more clean, bold and straight forward with better typeface, simpler icons and a bright palette.
